Vice Presidency

Brief Introduction

In 1419 A.H (1998 AD), the Vice-Presidency of the university was one of the Organizational Structures approved by King Khalid University and has been entrusted many duties, responsibilities and powers consistent with the basic requirements to establish the university. The Vice-Presidency has accomplished many achievements since its inception. The Vice-Presidency has made fruitful and constructive efforts, led by former Vice Presidents, 

 

Vision

To elevate the level of academic and administrative services at the University.

Mission

To elevate the efficiency and capacity of services provided through the Vice Presidency of the university by relying on top of the range academic & administrative E-information systems that facilitate and hasten work procedures.

Objectives
  1. To elevate the efficiency of employees of the Vice Presidency through training courses and workshops.
  2. To rearrange the procedures of work carried out by staff.
  3. To provide all office procedures through E-Services.

Conferences & Presentations
2012 -Roundtable meeting in the Institute of Administration convened in Riyadh to discuss the Problems and Solutions of the Labour Market, participating with 34 governmental bodies that represent the ministries related to labour market. The meeting was convened by Their Highness the Princes of the regions of Saudi Arabia and their vice-governors. I presented one paper, one working paper and chaired two sessions in the three sessions of the meeting, Riyadh Institute of Administration. Multiple workshop convened by the deans of Research and Strategic Planning Institutes in Saudi universities, organised by King Fahad University for Petroleum and Minerals at Dammam, Hail University, Salman University, Umm Al Qurra University. I presented several working papers on the advisory services of these institutes in Saudi Arabia, successes and failures, achievements and accomplishments, as well as presenting on investment opportunities in knowledge economy, partnerships and alliances for continued development as well as managing some of the workshops. 2013 -Attending and presenting a paper on the quality of services offered by Saudi universities INTED 2013 : INTED2013 (7th International Technology, Education and Development Conference), Valencia 2013 -Participating in a training workshop in Cardiff University, UK, for one week on academic and administrative leadership in universities 2013 -Participating in the 1st Symposium on Community partnership, presenting a paper on the Experience and Success of King Khalid University in Community Service Partnerships 2014 -Organising and managing a symposium on the evaluation and appraisal of governmental performance in Aseer region under the auspices of Aseer Prince and King Khalid University. The deputy of the governor, vice-governors, and vice-rector and 18 governmental bodies convened the symposium. I chaired two sessions of the three sessions of the symposium.
2015 -Organising and managing a symposium on enhancing the competencies of governmental officers and their performance in Aseer region under the aegis of the Prince of Aseer and King Khalid University. the symposium was attended by the vice-prince, the vice governor, the vice rectors, leaders of the governorate, and the regional governors, city governors, Municipal Council members.
