Al-Faifi Receives the University's Excellence Award in the Field of Education
Dr. Zaher bin Hussein Jobran Al-Faifi, received King Khalid University’s 8th Cycle Excellence Award for the year 1444AH in the field of education - faculty member branch for his effective efforts in this field.
Dr. Al-Faifi, thanked His Excellency the University President and those in charge of this award for this honor. He explained that the university's relentless pursuit in equipping Kku’s community, to become an example to follow in quality and excellence lead to the realization that quality in work leads to quality of life, which is one of the goals of 2030 Vision.
Al-Faifi, added that there is no doubt that excellence is founded on ethics and roots that allow distinction in all elements of life. Among these elements is the employee's "sincerity in work, proper planning, careful implementation, and continuous evaluation". He also stressed that the employee will always be among the best if keen to develop himself/herself "skillfully, scientifically and cognitively.”
The name and work of Dr. Al-Faifi are attached to the field of education as a result of his rich career of achievements in the field of public education teaching which has extended for over 18years and eventually lead him to becoming a university faculty member and head the Arabic Language Department at the College of Science and Arts in Mahayil Asir.
Dr. Al-Faifi ,has published multiple research papers in scientific journals and published a number of books, such as his book “The Image of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Decisive Storm: a study of poetic discourse” and the book “King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz in Contemporary Saudi Poetry: an Objective and Artistic Study,” and more.
Dr. Al-Faifi has also delivered a number of training courses and volunteer initiatives in a variety of subjects, as well as taking part in a number of conferences, seminars, forums, and workshops. He also participated in more than 58 university and community service projects, received numerous awards, certificates, and letters of appreciation for his outstanding work and ongoing efforts in the fields of education and Arabic language. He is a member of numerous committees within the university and outside of it.
