His Royal Highness the Governor of Asir Region Patrons King Khalid University's Tihama Branch Graduation Ceremony

The graduation ceremony for students of the King Khalid University branch in Tihama for the academic year 1444, which numbered 1966 graduates in the bachelor's and diploma programs, was held on Monday, June 6, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Asir Region and Head of Asir Development Authority.

The ceremony, which included His Excellency the University President, Prof. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al-Solami, started with a recitation of the Holy Qur'an. Then came the "graduates speech," which was followed by the announcement of the graduates' results, and then a presentation highlighting the national achievement of the two Saudi astronauts' and their conducting of experiments and research to benefit humanity and the country.

The General Supervisor of the university branch in Tihama, Dr. Ahmed bin Atef Al-Shehri, delivered a speech in which he welcomed His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal and expressed gratitude for his generous presence at the university branch's graduation ceremony. He also congratulated the graduates and thanked everyone who helped them to be in that celebration, including their families, the university's employees professors.

The ceremony also included an operetta performance, which was praised by the audience, and concluded by the honoring of the top 35 graduates.
