Academic Positions Under Contract System
King Khalid University is announced its desire to fill a number of academic positions at the ranks of "Assistant Professor" and "Lecturer" on a full-time contract basis at the university's main campus in Al-Fara'a.

- General Conditions:
- The Applicant must be Saudi
- The Applicant has to be medically fit
- The applicant must have obtained all academic degrees through full-time study, residing in the country of study, and not by part-time, distance or blended education, and the like.
- In case the degree/diploma certificate and professional certificates were obtained from outside the Kingdom, the certificate(s) must be recognized by the Ministry of Education along
- The applicant must meet the particular criteria listed for each position, as well as the University Council-approved procedures for appointing faculty members and other individuals of equivalent status.
- The applicant must master the practical skills necessary for each job and have full knowledge of its requirements.
- With the exception of applicants who acquired their most recent academic qualification from a university in an English-speaking country, the applicant must have an IELTS band score of 6 or an equivalent score on an approved international standardized test within the previous 5 years of the time of application.
- The applicant must pass the job interview conducted by the relevant committees.
- The application is limited to applying to one job and all required documents must be completed on the e-recruitment system during the application period, and applications that fail to meet with these requirements or whose data turns out to be inaccurate are excluded.
- The final approval of the appointment is subject to what the university receives from the Ministry of Education and the Universities Affairs Council regarding the regulations related to the restructuring of the university’s departments, colleges, and majors.
