MoU Between KKU & SARS
King Khalid University, represented by the College of Engineering, signed a memorandum of
understanding yesterday, Monday, with the Saudi Amateur Radio Society (SARS), in the
University City of Al-Qara’a.
The MoU aims to enhance cooperation in the academic, scientific, research, training, cultural
and development fields. That is by strengthening the areas of joint cooperation between them
in wireless communications research, radio astronomy, satellite communication stations,
design and programming of (CubeSat) satellites, in addition to joint workshops in the field of
telecommunication.
The Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Muhammad Khalofa Al Misfer represented the
University at the signing of the agreement, while SARS was represented by its Secretary
General, Abdulrahman Ghallab Al-Shahrani.
It is worth noting, that the vision of SARS stems from advancing the field of communication
and outreach, as well as introducing the Kingdom to the whole world, as the association is
concerned with human connection.
