Investment Environment Workshop Comes to an End

On  Thursday the 6th of January, King Khalid University concluded the “Developing the Investment and Revenue Environment at King Khalid University” workshop , which was organized by the General Administration of Investment at the University Agency  for Business and Knowledge Economy for two days, in the presence of a number of businessmen and women in the Kingdom, to discuss investment opportunities at the university.

 

The  second day of the workshop came to complete the work of the first day which  witnessed the attendance of more than 50 businessmen and women and company representatives, who in turn presented a number of proposals that can be invested in scientific and commercial aspects. 

 

University  Vice president  of  Business and Knowledge Economy, Prof. Dr. Abdullatif Al-Hadithi, stressed the university’s keenness, through this workshop, to open communication windows with businessmen and women and company representatives and motivate investment opportunities that attract investors and diversify and develop university resources  and  aligns with the objectives of its strategic plan.

 

 

The workshop second day discussed,  a number of investment aspects that included  the effectiveness of academic and research performance and their  role in achieving financial sustainability, in addition to  discussing  the  mechanisms  required to develop  flexible investment policies, and the  future  of business investments at King Khalid University.

 

 

The workshop was concluded  by identifying a number of investment opportunities that benefit the university and the region, taking into account the cultural, archaeological heritage and geographical diversity in  region, in addition to the regions  tourism and nature.
