Excelling Over 1500 Educational Institutions, the University's e-Learning Achieves First Place in the QM International Competitions

The Deanship of E-Learning at King Khalid University,  achieved first place in the international “QM” organization competitions, in the category of  making a difference among students at the level of higher education institutions outside the United States of America for the year 2021.

The university's coronation comes first among a number of higher education institutions participating in the competitions of the "Quality Matters" organization, a world leader in the quality of electronic courses, in which the number of joint educational institutions exceeded  1500 educational institutions from 30 countries around the world.

His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, explained that this  achievement  confirms the excellence of the education and e-learning system at the university, and also translates the learning success stores and their  prominent impact in  transferring  and delivering knowledge.  He  expressed  his appreciation  our wise leadership  and the Ministry of Education for the attention devoted to Education in all regions of  Saudi Arabia.

The Dean of e-Learning, Dr. Adel Qahmesh, confirmed that the International “QM” organization annually presents an award to honor excellence in e-learning in the global community of practice for  quality systems. He  stressed  that achieving this award is a result of the deanships  activation of many initiatives targeting  quality  courses and programs, as well as employing  designed  learning experiences that meet the needs of learners according to their different fields, in addition to providing support  services to all groups benefiting from the e-learning system at the university.

It is worth noting, that the Deanship of e-Learning at the university has worked for some time to develop, design and apply innovative tools, techniques and software that have greatly contributed to improving the e-learning process and its outcomes.
