University Postgraduate Deanship : 350 Post Graduate Desertions Defended Online

The Deanship of Postgraduate Studies at King Khalid University continues to implement online desertion defense session for (masters and doctoral degrees)  the Deanship recently showed a statistic showing the number of desertions  that have been defended  (remotely) since the start of the Corona pandemic, which amounted to 350 desertions  in various faculties and departments the University.

The Dean of the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies at the University, Professor Dr. Ahmed bin Yahya Al Faie, explained that the pandemic did not prevent  the examination of postgraduate students , pointing to the qualitative leaps that the university has made in the fields of e-learning and the use of technology means in implementing education in accordance with the directions of our wise leadership have contribute greatly to the success and development of our society.

Al Faei also confirmed that the online defending sessions  facilitated the  process, adding  that online desertion defending  session  also provide an opportunity for all those wishing to attend to attend the session , he commended the  quality of coordination between the Deanship and the colleges in organizing and improving the discussions.

In terms of thesis topics ,  Al Faie explained that the desertions included a variety of topics that are  inline with the Kingdom’s 2030 vision and serve the development of various fields.

It’s worth noting that the Postgraduate Deanship is home to  an integrated and advanced electronic structure that was launched during the past period in several stages, which facilitated all  student procedures.
