Signing a Cooperation Agreement with the Beekeepers Association from Rijal Almaa'
His Excellency, King Khalid University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Sulami, attended the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Bee Research and Honey Production Unit and the Beekeepers Association in Rijal Alma'.
The Supervisor of Bee Research and Honey Production Unit, Prof. Hamid Ali Al Garamah, represented the university in signing the agreement, while Mr. Ali Yahya Al Hayani, represented the Beekeepers Association.
Al Garamah, explained that the agreement supports scientific planning, institutional consultation and strategies related to the honey production sector, in addition to employing expertise to make decisions and implement beekeeping strategies.
Al Garamah, added that the cooperation aims to establish a production station for elected excellent queen bees, to benefit the honey production sector financially and environmentally, by exchanging experiences and joining efforts to meet the 2030 Saudi Vision.
