Today, Tuesday 11/1/1436 AH, a campaign entitled "You Protect Yourself" is launched at the King Khalid University female students Academic Complex, on King Abdullah Road. The campaign which is scheduled to be held for three days, is in collaboration with Zahra Society for fighting against Breast Cancer. It targets the female students and faculty members to raise their awareness of that medical condition and how to prevent themselves through the necessary early medical examinations and preventive methods.

On its first day, the campaign began at the female students academic complex, which is located on King Abdullah Road. On the second day, Wednesday, the University Center for female students studies in Abha will host the events of the campaign. And on the last day, events will be executed at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Khamis Mushayt.

On this regard, the Dean of Student Affairs of King Khalid University, Dr. Mraa'e Al-Habash earlier reported that the aim of the campaign was to raise the students' awareness of the importance of early medical check-up. He further urged them to pay extreme attention to that, and to enhance the slogan of the campaign, in addition to finding out the causes and means of protection from Breast Cancer.
