Girls Science College celebrates with new entrants.

Girls Science College of King Khalid University, Abha, has celebrated yesterday the arrival of its new entrants. The venue of the event was the college theater at its new site on King Abdullah Road. Respected personalities have honored the occasion with their attendance. Such personalities included the Assistant Vice - President for Girls Colleges, Dr. Kholood Abu Melha, and a number of faculty members. The program of the celebration included a number of activities which began with the Dean of the college, Dr Zhbh Al-Raeza delivering the welcome address to the new entrants. She said, "Surly, it is an honor to us to have you at our University, within a constellation of distinguished teaching staff and outstanding students." She advised the new entrants not to waste their precious time, warning them about inaction. She also urged them to exert great efforts in their academic pursuit and to adhere to educators' ethics, so that they can be of benefit to their families, their homeland and to all mankind.
On the occasion, the coordinator for activity and transformation, Dr. Tammy Samir informed the new entrants about the Department of transformation, and the Department of Activity in the University. She explained the services those department deliver to students. She urged them to participate in the activities to acquire different skills, hence be able to contribute to solving some of their problems, such as lack of self-confidence. The celebration also included a number of activities, with prizes distributed to the attendees.
