King Khalid University (KKU) main Library begins refurbishing and equipping its branches in the provinces all over the region. Deanship of Libraries Affairs begins the implementation of refurbishing branches libraries which are part of the affiliated project under its control. Places affected by the project include the Central Library of Graduates study Center in Lassan, and the Medical Library in the College of Medicine, Main Campus, both in Abha. Other places are the library at College of Sciences for female students at Academic Campus, King Abdullah Road, and the library at College of Arts and Sciences in Ahad Rufidah.

This information was related by the Dean of Library Affairs Dr. Saeed Bin Qasim Al Khalidi, who explained that the Deanship, with the generous support of His Excellency, Prof. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Daoud, the President of the University, has begun the process of refurbishing according to the schedule that has been prepared in coordination with the supplier company. The work of providing suitable furniture for comfortable reading atmosphere, and for keeping the library materials in the right way, will be in all branches library in different provinces of the region.
