University Urges Secondary School graduates to speed up entering applications

King Khalid University, represented by the Admission and Registration Deanship, urges all students, who wish to join the University in its headquarter in Abha, or in any other colleges at affiliated provinces of the region to speed up delivering their applications, besides ordering wishes of the disciplines according to priority on the portal of the University (http:// registration.kku.edu.sa / kku / init).

The Dean of Admission and Registration at the University, Dr. Saad Bin Mohammed bin Dajm expressed the pursuit of the university and eagerness to absorb all sons and daughters of the region, and to give them the opportunity to complete their university education, with a commitment to the principle of justice and equality among all applicants in admission process.

He also revealed that the university has completed the approval to receive application for Bisha, students only in the faculties of Medicine, Engineering (Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering), and in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Ahad Refadah. Admitting for the English Language Department, students only, will begin, while in Abha, admissions will start for Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Department, students only, at the Faculty of Administration and Home Economics.

He pointed out that the number of students applying to the portal for the academic year 1435/1436 reached approximately 27 thousand applications until 02/08/1435 AH. Note that the deadline to close the portal is 08/22/1435 AH. He said, "Applications will not be accepted after this date." He added," The applicant only enter main and valid data, and arrange his desires based on priority. Regarding the marks of the High School, it'll be sent from the Ministry of Education, while the National Center for Measurement and Evaluation will provide the University with the highest capacity and attainment marks that obtained by the students."

Dajm clarified that the nomination for new students will be in three phases, the first phase: begins on Saturday 23/08/1435 to Tuesday, 26/08/1435 AH for students who have qualified or their measured percentages ranging from 80% to 100%. The University will ensure the student, who obtained such acceptance ratios applying for one of the Undergraduate Programs according to the measured and qualified ratio and arrange entered wishes of the student, and the number of seats that were approved in the last University Council.
