The President: I hope Dentistry College keep supporting community service

During the opening ceremony of the 7th Scientific Research Day,
President of King Khalid University said, "I hope Dentistry College keep supporting community service."
The President of King Khalid University, Prof. Abdulrahman Bin Hamad Al Dawood inaugurated the activities of the 7th Scientific Research Day, for Interns at the Faculty of Dentistry, University City, Al-Jrijr.
Then he toured to have a look on the specialized clinics and dental implantation clinics. He also briefed on the researches presented by intern students, which reached 38 researches in various medical and dental fields. After that he listened to a detailed explanation of Interns for provided researches whose information has been drawn by the reviewers of college clinics, in addition to receiving information from the health centers in Asir.
Al-Dawood thanks the Dean of the College, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shahrani for this scientific product. He said, "I hope that there will be a prominent and positive role of the college in community service because of its unique experiences and possibilities."
In this regard, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry thanks the President of the University for attending and continuous support to the process of education and scientific research in the college. He confirmed that the college will work hard to continue to provide the role assigned to it in science, knowledge, and health, whether for the student or the society in general.
At the conclusion, the President of the University honored a number of faculty members and intern students who obtained the first three places. Dr. Saeed Awad and Dr. Ali Al-Qahtani obtained the first place, Dr. Ali bin Saad Al-Qahtani, Dr. Mari -Qarni, Dr. Rami Al-Homrani, Dr. Ayub Bukhari obtained the second place while Dr. Saud bin Ali Al-Qahtani obtained the third place.
On the other hand, the College of Dentistry concluded its activities this year by the Club of Medicine on the Theatre of the University at Mahalah, in the presence of the Dean of the College, a number of faculty members and students.
The celebration included a short film which displayed some situations experienced by the dental students, followed by a comic play performed by a group of students. The play elaborated the story of suffering experienced by the student during educational career until success.
