His Excellency King Khalid University President, Professor Abdulrahman Bin Hamid Aldawood accompanied by professor Marae Bin Hussain Al-Qahtani and the university Vice President for Girls’ Colleges Professor Ali Bin Naser Shetwi visited last week the Scientific College for Girls in its new location on King Abdullah Road, Abha.

The visit comes within the university determined pursuit to create an academic environment suitable for students, male and female including the buildings the university established and stand on the latest equipment needed to be ready to move in as soon as possible.

His Excellency, during the visit, wandered inside the building and checked outside courtyards, services buildings in addition to labs of physics, chemistry, biology, e-learning, computer and English language.

After that, he listened to a detailed explanation about what has been accomplished and what labs need out of equipment. Al-Dawood checked classrooms and the management building which contains Dean’s office, Vice Presidents, and the college employees. Then, the university President held a meeting to with related Vice Presidents of the university, deanships, administrations in order to discuss the provision of all necessary facilities.

On his behalf, Dr. Al-Dawood expresses the university keenness to provide all stuff that will create a proper educational atmosphere for all. He said, " Due to the generous support, we enjoy, from the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy, may Allah protects them all, we should be careful deeply to discharge projects that serve our students, male and female" he added "support and follow-up of Asir region Prince, Prince Faisal Bin Khalid has a key role in the progress and growth of the university in all fields of education, research and social services."
