King Khalid University teaching staff got international awards

Prof. Dr.Faheed Bin Hassan Al Hashim, A teacher and physiology department Head in Medicine College at King Khalid University got Sheikh Mohammed Al Khalifa Award for medical Research in its six round. He got the 1^st position for the best medical research published in Bahrain Medical Bulletin during 2012 AD entitled "The Impact of the highlands on the inhibition of thyroid function and poor metabolism of fat and increasing the proportion of oxidants tissue " shared by Dr. Abdullah Shator , Dr. Nasser Al-Daggrey , Dr. Mohammed Khalil, Dr. Nour Al-Deen Fares , Dr. Mahmoud Al-Khatib. Dr. Al Hashim presented a brief introduction about his research and got approval of the attendants.

Also Dr. Misfer bin Mohammed Al Hashim al-Shahrani, Associate Professor and Chairman, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Medicine college at the University got the 7^th position award on the research titled "urinary bladder injury during Caesarean section," a survey in ten years.

Dr. Al Hashim and Dr. Shahrani received this award from His Excellency the commander doctor Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of State for Defence, in a ceremony held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of Bahrain, on Wednesday, October 30/2013 at King Hamad university Hospital.
