University Academic Development and Quality Unit Trains More Than 900 Faculty Members

Last semester the Deanship of Academic Development and Quality at King Khalid University implemented 35 training courses for its teaching staff. These courses took place throughout campuses within the university system. The initiatives included: 20 programs for new staff members, 4 leadership training programs, 6 classes on measurement and evaluation and 5 courses in scientific research.

The training programs inured to all types of faculty members. Programs were available to both males and female employees at all ages and experience levels. All of these quality and development efforts are directed to improving the skills and abilities of teachers and staff. This supports the university’s objectives of continuous improvement and promoting creative development in education.

Vice Rector for Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Merzin Al-Shahrani, reported that 902 faculty members benefited from the training programs. He also expressed his gratitude to His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy for his continuous support for such training programs.
