Forum Focuses on Women's Health and Sports Education

Vice Rector of Female Student Affairs, Dr. Khlood Abu Melha, officiated at the inaugural Health and Sport Education forum. The female Deanship of Student Affairs organized the event. The purpose of the forum was to raise awareness of women's health. Exhibits focused on nutrition, exercise, and psychological well-being. The female colleges, along with the Student Guidance Center, sponsored several events such as a track race, cycling competition, and tennis tournament. More than 2,300 women participated in the forum and competitive events.

Dr. Fatimah Sha'aban Asiri, Vice Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs, started the forum with opening remarks stressing the importance of women's public health and sports education. She noted that women's physical fitness, well-being and participation in sports are important components of the national strategy as per Vision 2030, which the university supports.

The three top finishers in the short track race in a field of 60 were:

  1. Ghada Ibrahim (1)
  2. Alhanoof Al-Shahrani (2)
  3. Shatha Al-Shehri (3)

The three top finishers in the cycle race in a field of 58 were:

  1. Ghada Altheeb (1)
  2. Taif Asiri (2)
  3. Maryam Al-Zahrani (3)

In addition, 60 students participated in the Table Tennis tournament.
