King Khalid University's College of Medicine, represented by the Medicine and Creativity Club in collaboration with the Saudi Germany Hospital, recently held two awareness campaigns that promoted World Sight Day and World Mental Health Day at Al Rashid Mall in Abha.

The two campaigns were under the supervision College of Medicine Dean, Prof. Sulaiman Al-Humayed, and aimed to educate the public on blindness and vision impairment prevention methods. Also, a strong focus was dedicated to educating the public on the importance of mental health and advocacy against social stigma

The two campaigns included the participation of several university faculty members and doctors from the Saudi German Hospital, in addition to several volunteers from the Faculty of Medicine, who served more than 1,400 beneficiaries.
