On the 7^th and 8^th of Jumādá Al-Ākhirah, Director of the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Center of Research, Environmental Studies, and Tourism at King Khalid University, Dr. Saad bin Jubran Al-Qahtani, presented a paper on the Center's experience in protecting the environment in the Asir region as set forth in Vision 2030.

Of noteworthy mention, Vice Rector of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Saad Al-Amry, stressed the significant role and importance that King Khalid University holds amongst all universities in the Kingdom in regards to environmental protection and tourism. Vice Rector Al-Amry further noted that participating in platforms to exchange and share expertise is vital to environmental and sustainable development -- a main objective of Vision 2030.
