University Workshop: Building and Managing Executive Initiative Teams

King Khalid University, represented by the Strategic Planning Administration and in collaboration with the Academic Development and Quality Deanship, held a workshop entitled Building and Managing Executive Initiative Teams. Vice Dean of the Academic Development and Quality Deanship, Dr. Hessa Mohammad Al-Melwith, presented the workshop on Tuesday evening to more than 150 trainees. The workshop defined the concept of 'Initiative' and its overall importance in relation to skillsets within any team. Vice Dean Al-Melwith also referred to the most popular characteristics of an initiative team and the stages of building and managing such teams.

Al-Melwith used a variety of activities to help stimulate the trainees mental abilities and skills within the workshop. Most notably, Kahoot!, a game-based platform that makes learning interesting was utilized. At the end of the workshop, Assistant Director of the Strategic Planning Administration, Dr. Khariya Abu Dadi, thanked Dr. Hessa Al-Melwith for her effort in presenting the workshop.
