Science and Arts College at Ahd Rafidah organizes 2030 Forum

Under the auspices of His Excellency, The Rector of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh Bin Rajaa Allah Al-Solamy, King Khalid University, represented by the Faculty of Science and Arts for Girls in Ahd Rafidah organized 2030 Forum "the vision of the homeland and the duty of society" The meeting took place in the University Theatre in the Faculty of Science.

The forum aims at achieving national goals and community participation in the university and contributing to the promotion of national principles, achieving the University's goals and highlighting its role in achieving the social partnership for the success of Vision 2030. Several governmental sectors participated in the forum- health, security, Dawa, education and commerce.

The forum focused on a number of topics, including how to create an Islamic society that cherishes its Islamic and national identity, serves the guests of the Beneficent, creating a healthy society for a healthy and integrated environment, creating a vibrant society to enhance human potentials, and supporting educational and community principles

The forum started with Royal Anthem. Then, a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech by the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Dean of the College of Ahd Rafidah, Dr. Salma Al Gharabi, in which she said, "With a vision of a comprehensive future came the launch of the vision of Saudi Arabia 2030 to reflect the aspirations of the leadership" She added, "We, at King Khalid University, represented by the Faculty of Science and Arts at Ahd Rafaida, believe that this vision shoulders us a national responsibility that we feel its importance and value in the future. This stage requires everyone to work in harmony with the aspirations of our wise leadership. Moreover, the first and main axis from which the vision begins and ends is society by establishing the basis of economic and social prosperity"

She explained, "When we decide to hold this forum, we were keen on highlighting the role of the society and its duty to spread the culture of the vision and on working towards achieving it, and on supporting community participation through keeping on the activities that suggest every new and programs that would achieve the Vision goals" She also called for raising awareness of the importance and credibility of the vision, through the follow-up of official websites of vision 2030 and on the social media, so as to investigate the achievements and initiatives that would implement the vision.
