The Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education of King Khalid University (KKU), has organized a training course, entitled "Recent developments in the development of teaching skills of faculty members of the university." At the presentation of the course was the Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education, Dr. Mubarak Saeed Hamdan, in addition to the member of the teaching staff and the trainer of the deanship, Dr. Mohammed Ali Al-Abd.

The Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education, Dr. Mubarak Hamdan, explained at the occasion that the course was attended by 31 non-educators faculty members from various colleges of the King Khalid University. Dr. Hamdan noted that the course covered a number of themes, including the Constitution of the university teacher, lesions of traditional education, the principles of the seven practices of proper teaching, patterns of education, and teaching strategies. Dr. Hamdan added that the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education had set up a free course in dealing with others. The course was presented for the students of public security training in Asir Province, on the stage of the city, and was attended by more than 500 trainees. Moreover, another course in the women's branch in Al mansak, was also presented for free. The course handled ideas of modern developments in the teaching skills of faculty members at the university and was attended by approximately 38 members of the teaching staff at the university faculties for girls.

It is worth mentioning that the Deanship has organized a free course in occupational health and safety for the students of the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science. This course was attended by approximately 90 students and was presented by Ahmed Shaaban.
