His Excellency, the Rector of King Khalid University (KKU), Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Solamy, has issued a resolution to nominate Dr. Ali bin Abdullah Al Zuhair Al-Qahtani, to be a supervisor on the chair of Al-Jazirah newspaper for Saudi Media at the University.

It is noteworthy that the chair of Al-Jazirah newspaper for the Saudi media was established on Monday, 14 Jumada Al-Thani 1435 AH, under a Convention held at King Khalid University with Al-Jazirah newspaper. The chair occupies the 11^th ranking on the level of media research chairs in Saudi Arabia, through the march of these chairs that stretch since more than 7 years. It is considered the first media chair to be established under the umbrella of the media and communications department at the Faculty of Humanities at King Khalid University, which seeks to achieve the objectives of the university in partnership with community organizations, which will help to promote specialized scientific research.
