The University Organizes the First International Educational Conference.

King Khalid University (KKU), represented by the College of Education, will organize the First International Educational Conference entitled 'Teacher and Knowledge Era: Opportunities and Challenges, Regenerated Teacher for a Changing World'. The conference will take place in the period from 29 / 2 / 1438 AH (29 / 11 / 2016 AD) - to 1 / 3 / 1438 AH, (30 / 11 / 2016 AD). The conference aims to develop the teacher preparation program in colleges of educayionas, well as to emphasize the role of the teacher to the graduate as well as to the cultured generation, and also to graduate qualified cadres of scientists, experts, intellectuals, teachers of the future. Moreover, the congerance aims to develop the teacher preparation program of special needs in the light of the knowledge age requirements. Furthermore, it aims to provide proposed visualizations to involve the universities in the development of teacher professional teachers performance. Other issues to be discussed at the conference will include several topics, such as teacher preparation and vocational development in the light of new educational needs, as well as teacher preparation between the two systems sequential and complementary, and teacher with the improved curriculum, in addition to modern teaching strategies. In addition to the above, the conference will focus on the following: the teacher's role in instilling good values in the light of cultural and social requirements, and the teacher's role in highlighting the cultural values of the Arabic and Islamic nation, and the teacher's role in the consolidation of the values of belonging and identity, the citizenship and the strengthening of the environmental and health values, as well as the teacher's role in the light of the opportunities and the challenges of the knowledge age, in addition to the teacher and the development of the teaching profession. It is worth mentioning that the scientific committee of the conference has received 502 researches but only 167 papers were accepted.
