KKU President: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' word is a guiding light for us.

His Excellency, the President of king Khalid University (KKU), and Bisha university, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Dawood, has praised the word that has been given by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud – May God protect him. In the speech, King Salman drew the outlines of this blessed country; its internal and external policies, religious policies, cultural policies, and its social bases.

President Al Dawood said, "The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' word which manifested the King's love for the country, his Majesty's interest in his nationals and his keenness to remain constant, in addition to continuing the process of balanced development, have resulted in meeting the needs of the citizens, and in creating a decent life, one of the first priorities for government action, as the basis of any development and the basis of any renaissance."

President Al Dawood added, "The royal speech which was delivered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - may God protect him - under the Dome of the Shura Council, included a determination to raise the national product level, consolidation of the overall economic development, diversification of sources of income and manpower development, and raise in employment rates, an increase in spending on infrastructure, continued attention to sectors of the economy, of health, of education, of housing, of employment, and of transportation. The King's word is considered a major value for all those who are in positions of responsibility. The speech is also is a road map, a beacon, and an achievement path. It included a clear statement to the trends of the leadership and the aspirations of the citizens during the next phase." President Dr. Al Dawood added, "We, at King Khalid University and the University of Bisha - the management, the officials, and the stakeholders - understand the content of this exhaustive word, as a guiding light for us in all our work. And we, God willing, will go forward in achieving its objectives, and in contributing to change the words into reality, to be witnessed by the country, and to be enjoyed by citizens, and finally, to be recognized by the appointed administrator."

At the conclusion of his statement, His Excellency the President of KKU prayed to God - the Almighty - to help the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness, Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdul Aziz, and Deputy Crown Prince, his Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, and to make them an asset to Islam and Muslims, and keep them safe for this country and its people.
