A lecture entitled "Psychodrama" by Rashid Al-Shamrani.

Theatrical Activity of King Khalid University, in partnership with Culture and Arts Association branch in Asir, hosted a member of the Council of the Saudi Arabian Association for Culture and Arts, artist, Dr. Rashid Al-Shamrani, over two consecutive days. On the first day, the meeting took place in the theatre of Culture and Arts Association, at King Fahd Cultural Center, while the meeting of the second day was at the Central Stands of King Khalid University in Abha.

During the two meetings, Dr. Al-Shamrani gave a lecture under the title "Psychodrama", in which he talked about self-development methods, to remove the obstacles that prevent a person from recognizing himself, with the necessity to face problems with oneself. Dr. Al-Shamrani proposed a number of helpful methods to renounce destructive ideas by monitoring these ideas as it is taken at the psychological method of treatment (psychodrama); a psychiatric treatment combines drama as a form of art and psychology, and is effective in helping a person to unload his feelings and emotions through acting roles that are related to the present, past, and future attitudes.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Rashid Al-Shamrani received a master's degree in Clinical Psychology from King Saud University in 1415, while he earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from King Mohammed V in Rabat University at where he qualified in the psychological drama as a treatment for patients with depression, in 1425.
