Additional clinics provided by the University

Complementing medical services system that is being provided by the outpatient clinics in the Medical City at King Khalid University for its employees, the clinics of dermatology, joints and Bones have recently begun providing services. In addition, and for the first time in the Medical City of King Khalid University, the treatment of depression by using magnetic induction has begun under the supervision of the Psychiatric Associate Consultant and the professor in the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Hassan Al-Omari.

The Director of the University's Medical city, Mr. Ayed Nasser Asiri has clarified that the services consisted of a number of clinics, including the family clinic, women clinic, childbirth clinic, and community medicine clinic,in addition to General Medicine clinic. He said, "The University Rector Prof. Abdulrhman bin Hamad Al Dawood cares so much about the medical services that are being provided in the University because he believes on the importance of the role that medical services offer. We strive to raise the level of efficiency." Mr. Asiri added that "the university President is keen to make all medical specialties available in the outpatient clinics, which are being run by a number Medical Schools' stakeholders at the university".
