University continues to celebrate the 85th National Day.

King Khalid University (KKU) continues its celebration of the 85th National Day. Yesterday, Tuesday 13/10/2015 AD, there was a poetic section, in addition to a youth program known as "Homeland morning."

The events commenced with poetry joining classical and nabati, which were presented by a number of poets including Dr. Ibrahim Abu Taleb, Dr. Ahmed Eltehani, the poet Abdullah Alsakiti, and the poet Abdullah Al-Qahtani. This was followed by the youth program termed "Homeland morning", which included many recreational and educational sections. In addition, there were national competitions and choir poems presented by a number of university students, who expressed their pride in the country in its 85th anniversary. Asir Stars teams, which are formed by the students of the University, presented skeet shows in the University Foyer.

At the end of the celebration, there was a draw on a number of valuable prizes, in addition to announcing the results of the "Homeland Culture 2" competition, which was launched by the deanship via the KKU portal. Also, released was the results of the competition of the best twitter on the hashtag #دمت_شامخاً
