His Excellency, the President of King Khalid University (KKU), who is also the Chairman of the Board of Scientific Chairs, Prof. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Dawood has inaugurated the website of the council, within the university portal http://sscc.kku.edu.sa. The event took place yesterday, Wednesday 25/11/1436 AH, and was attended by a variety of dignified personalities such as the Vice - Chairman of the Board, who is also the University Vice - President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Majid Al-Harbi, in addition to a considerable number of the Council members.

On that development, President Al Dawood explained, "The website of the Council will be a good addition because it will contain a number of advantages such as permanent updates of the data which is listed on the site and which belongs to scientific chairs, in addition to having all the information and data needed by the visitor". On the other hand, President Al Dawood was presented with the annual report of the Standing Committee of the personnel issues at its second session. The report was delivered by the Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Mohamed Metab Cardm. It is known that the committee, since its establishment, has been interested in receiving the complaints of the faculty members and the like, which are forwarded to the University President.
