A section for Obstetrics and gynecology in the outpatients department was opened. The section is affiliated to the Medical City at the university. The inauguration was in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine. In detail, the new unit is equipped with the latest medical technology. Patients and reviewers are received periodically - every Monday and Tuesday, from 9.00 o'clock am until 12.00 O'clock pm - starting from 10/06/1436 AH.

In the new section, many services are available. They include four-dimensional imaging, diagnosis of pregnancy risk and treatment of embryos, antenatal and labor care, the treatment of recurrent miscarriage, and performing laboratory comprehensive tests for cases of obstetrics and gynecology. All cases are treated by female specialist staff, and supervised by the Obstetrics and Gynecology Consultant on follow-up pregnancy risk cases, who is also a member of the faculty, Dr. Mosfer Shahrani, in addition to the head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Bahaa El-Din Abdullah.
