The Faculty of Sharia and Religion Fundamentals of King Khalid University has arranged on Sunday morning, 3/5/1436 AH a reception for newcomer students. The celebration to receive the newcomers was attended by dignified personalities such as the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ahmed Humaid, the Faculty Club Supervisor Dr. Ali Al-Zubaidi, the Head of the Department of Faith, Dr. Mohammed Al-Rajhi, in addition to a number of Faculty students.

During the celebration, the systems of the Faculty were introduced to the newcomer students. This was done by providing a general and concise perception through visual presentation on the activities of the Faculty and its own club. In his turn, Dr. Humaid welcomed the newcomer students and urged them to fidelity and perseverance in their educational pursuit. Furthermore, he confirmed that all the Faculty employees were working hand in hand to support the educational process in the university. He added, "Our generations and children need a lot, and in the same time we need more from them." At the end of the celebration, the newcomer students were given a chance to ask questions and to make any inquiry they might have.
