University Vice-President for Health Affairs discusses obstacles that may hinder services at the faculties.

King Khalid University Vice - President for Health Affairs, Dr. Khalid Saad Aljelban met on Sunday 9/2/2015 AD, the Deans for health affairs of colleges, and the students. The meeting took place in the Central Stands, University City, Abha.

The goals of the meeting were to build directly the bridges of communication with those who are relevant to health affairs at the college, and to strengthen cooperation with parties which are concerned with health and academic process. Other aims of the meeting are; to improve health and academic services that are provided to students and faculty members, to discuss and follow-up of health and academic issues, to identify the obstacles that may hinder health affairs in the faculties of the university, as well as to help some colleges to review their academic programs on the ground by engaging professors in the health and academic affairs.

King Khalid University Vice - President for Health Affairs, Dr. Khalid Saad Aljelban explained that the matter of updating and developing the study plans was on top of the agenda of the meeting. The Vice - Presidency, represented by the Department of Plans and Study Programs, has worked on the preparation of the executive steps and the regular procedures to update the study plans. Preparation which was through a detailed study for the mechanisms of endorsement plans, resulted in the "approval of the plans and programs of study mechanism". The mechanism focused on learning outputs, strategies and modern evaluation methods.

It is noteworthy that the meeting which held for 5 days, gave the Vice - President for Health Affairs the opportunity to meet the students and academicians of Health specialties in the faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Medical Science in Abha, in addition to the University Center for girls in Alsamer.
