Under the auspices of the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of King Khalid University Dr. Sara' Abu Melha, and in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, the Faculty has organized an educational inductive program. The program is for raising awareness of hygiene and its importance for the protection against diseases and health problems. Moreover, the program was under the slogan "My beauty is in hygiene", and the venue was at the 4^th Primary School for girls in Khamis Mushayt.

The program included an educational lecture which offered information about general personal hygiene and the first aid, and statistics for other health problems that usually occur in schools. Furthermore, 62 healthy breakfast meals were distributed to the students and a basket containing personal hygiene items, in addition to sterilizers and awareness brochures. In her turn, Prof. Taghreed Ali Alwadi'i the nursing technician and the organizer of the program explained that the program "is part of the efforts of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences - in Khamis Mushayt, Complex 1 - in spreading awareness and educating the community". She further indicated that the program targeted all the students of the school, and sought to spread health awareness among students plus educating them. Prof Alwadi'i pointed out that such programs has been contributing strongly in spreading awareness and education, and in reducing the spread of diseases and other health problems inside the schools.
