University participates in the Advisory Council of the students of GCC.

King Khalid University has participated in the 4th Advisory Council of Student from the universities and higher education institutions in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The venue was in the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Gulf Arab States in Riyadh. A student - Abdullah bin Saeed Alseif - represented the University in the Student Advisory Council meeting, which was attended by the representatives of universities and educational institutions of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, as well as Saudi universities students who are members in the Council.

The conference aimed at providing an opportunity for the talented students in higher education in the GCC to show up through different themes and events, and to raise the scientific and cultural level of male and female students in the GCC. Other aims of the conference are to promote research and creative values of male and female students, to develop a culture of scientific research, to develop creativity and innovation, in addition to encouraging authentic and distinctive works of art and media. Moreover, the conference aimed at encouraging the student volunteering work, enriching the academic and student arena by presenting and spreading the students' scientific and creative output, improving leadership and dialogue skills among students, as well as rooting the values of the fair scientific competition and teamwork, and building bridges of scientific communication between male and female students in the GCC.
