University to hold a course for non-Arabic speakers.

The Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education, in collaboration with the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the Faculty of Humanities of King Khalid University has announced arranging an intensive course in Arabic Language to non - Arabic speakers. The 9-week course starts on Sunday, 12th Rabie Al-Akhar 1436 AH, and the venue will be the headquarter of the Deanship in Lassan, and it will be in the evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

On his part, the Chairman of the course, Dr. Mohammed Bin Ali Al-Hazmi explained that the objective of the course was to enable non - Arabic speaking faculty members of the university to use the Arabic language properly at all its skills: writing, reading, speaking, and listening. He said, "The idea of course is based on a proposal submitted by a number of colleges, so as to raise the level of the Arabic language in these college."

It is noteworthy that the number of those who have so far enrolled for the course has reached more than 80 members. The enrolled are going to be trained by a number of specialized academicians on a schedule of 4 days a week.
