King Khalid University President Attends Eid Al-Fitr Celebration for 1446 Under the Slogan "Happy Eid and Exceptional Achievement"

His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajallah Al-Solami, attended the annual Eid Al-Fitr celebration for university staff, organized by the General Administration of Institutional Communication in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs under the slogan "Happy Eid and Exceptional Achievement." The event was attended by university vice presidents, deans of colleges and supporting deanships, and a number of faculty members and staff, at the Exhibition and Conference Center in the university city in Al-Fara'a.

On this occasion, His Excellency extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz on his own behalf and on behalf of university staff and students.

Al-Solami also congratulated His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Asir Region and Chairman of its Development Authority, and His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Sattam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Asir Region, on this occasion, appreciating the efforts of His Royal Highness in following up on the university's 2030 strategy, which is in line with the Asir Region Development Strategy, and the continuous support the university receives.

Al-Solami noted the security and stability enjoyed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its citizens, and residents, stressing the university's constant endeavor, as a system in this great nation, and its continuous efforts to achieve the desired goals.

This annual meeting comes as a celebration of this blessed occasion and to emphasize the university's keenness to embody social values and brotherly feelings, where an atmosphere of intimacy and joy prevailed, and congratulations and blessings were exchanged amidst a joyful atmosphere accompanied by live musical performances by oud player Ziad Al-Ayed, in addition to taking commemorative photos.

During the celebration, attendees witnessed the drawing of the names of the winners from the university staff participating in the Ramadan Quranic competition, organized by the General Administration of Human Resources at the university, represented by the Internal Communication Department, in partnership with the university's Agency for Business and Community Partnership and sponsored by the private sector represented by Data Phone Stores.

Al-Solami also honored the students who won the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Award for Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation of the Holy Quran for Boys and Girls in its 26th session for the year 1446 AH, where student Razan bint Mohammed bin Fayez Al-Shehri won fourth place in the fifth branch of the competition, and her father received her honor, and student Ziad bin Ammar Al-Gharabi was honored for winning fifth place in the fifth branch of the same competition.

In a related context, the university's branch in Tihama organized a celebration on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, attended by the CEO of the Applied College in Muhayil Asir, Dr. Ibrahim Al Qaed, and staff of the Tihama colleges. In the women's section, university staff organized a similar celebration at the academic complex in Qariqir, attended by the university president's advisor and supervisor of the female students' study complexes, Professor Kholoud Abu Malha, in the context of the university's keenness to strengthen social bonds among its staff.
