"Institutional Structure: The Foundation for Achieving Institutional Excellence" Workshop at KKU

His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Professor Dr. Fahd bin Rajah Allah Al-Sulami, attended this Tuesday morning the workshop titled “Institutional Structure: The Foundation for Achieving Institutional Excellence,” organized by the Deanship of Electronic Services at the university's campus in the Fara’a district. The workshop was presented by Dr. Badr bin Abdulrahman Al-Ghamdi, an advisor at the Digital Government Authority for Institutional Development, with the presence of the university's leadership.

In a speech delivered at the workshop's opening, His Excellency the President of the University emphasized that the university is following a structured plan to achieve the strategies of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and enhance its strategy aligned with the regional development strategy. He confirmed that institutional structure is one of the primary strategies the university is focusing on, highlighting that it is a responsibility that encompasses a wide-ranging system involving various departments of the university.

The workshop included several key topics related to the concept of institutional structure and strategic practices. It highlighted the benefits and components of institutional structure, along with discussions on digital transformation, the new national methodology, government, change management, and business integration and empowerment. The workshop also reviewed the services and procedures related to institutional structure, how to derive value from these practices, and the empowerment of institutional structure at King Khalid University.
It is worth noting that the university is working with a comprehensive strategic plan to strengthen its institutional structure and bring it to advanced levels, contributing to the realization of its future aspirations.
