King Khalid University and the Saudi Falcons Club Sign a Cooperation Agreement

King Khalid University and the Saudi Falcons Club signed a cooperation agreement at the club's headquarters. The agreement was represented by the Acting President of King Khalid University, Prof. Saad bin Mohammad bin Dajam, and the CEO of the club, Mr. Talal bin Abdulaziz Al-Shammasi, in the presence of a number of officials representing both parties.
The memorandum aims to implement a number of awareness-raising initiatives and training programs related to falcons and falconry, as well as research, diplomas, and training programs related to the heritage of falconry, in order to preserve the cultural, heritage, and environmental heritage of falcons.
It also aims to coordinate and cooperate in attracting and encouraging investors interested in the falconry sector, sharing data, studies, statistics, and information in accordance with the regulations, and cooperating in events, workshops, exhibitions, and conferences of mutual interest.
This cooperation memorandum highlights and develops various aspects of the Kingdom's historical heritage, especially falcons, their care, and preservation, as well as environmental responsibility towards them, and the culture of falconry.
For his part, the Executive Director of the Applied College in Dhahran Al-Janoub, Prof. Mosfer bin Ahmed Al-Wadaei, explained that the agreement aims to coordinate and cooperate in the field of preserving the cultural and environmental heritage of falcons. In addition to coordinating and cooperating in research and initiatives to develop the sector. A diploma in falcon breeding and care will also be launched, which is the first of its kind in the world to qualify workers and support economic initiatives and ventures, and to govern and digitize the work of the sector in accordance with an academic vision.
