King Khalid University Hosts the 39th Meeting of the Committee of Deans of Dental Colleges in the Kingdom

The Acting President of King Khalid University, Prof. Saad bin Mohammed Dajam, welcomed the members of the Committee of Deans of Dental Colleges in the Kingdom at the university's Al-Fara'a campus, as part of their 39th meeting.
To commence the meeting, the Acting President of the university, honored the deans of dental colleges in the Kingdom, welcoming them as guests to the university, in the presence of the dean of the College of Dentistry at the university, Prof. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Qarni. Bin Dajam was briefed on the committee's work and its leading role in the education and development of the dental profession in the Kingdom, as well as its efforts to combine and integrate goals and provide opinions on the targets in the education of the profession in accordance with best practices in light of the Saudi Vision 2030.
This was followed by a meeting of the Committee of Deans of Dental Colleges in the Kingdom, with the participation of the committee members. The meeting discussed a number of topics and recent developments in the dental profession in the Kingdom.
The Chairman of the Committee, Prof. Abdulghani Mira, explained that the committee is tasked with discussing matters related to the education, training, and quality of the dental profession at the national level, and providing related consultations.
Dr. Mira pointed out that the meeting held at King Khalid University discussed several topics and approved a number of recommendations in this regard, to ensure the quality of dental education in the Kingdom, the necessary alignment, and the expected sustainability goals.
The members of the Committee went on a field visit to King Khalid University's Al-Fara'a campus. The tour included introductory programs about the university's facilities and a field visit to the College of Dentistry and the university hospital.
