15 University Departments Enhance Administrative Excellence by Being Awarded ISO Certificates

King Khalid University continues to affirm its commitment to excellence and quality, as a number of its departments have achieved a new milestone by being awarded international conformity certificates (ISO). This accomplishment includes departments that have successfully implemented global quality standards, thereby enhanced administrative efficiency and contributed to improving the quality of services provided.

The departments that were awarded the (ISO 9001:2015) certificates include the Deanship of Development and Quality, the Deanship of Research and Graduate Studies, the Deanship of Student Affairs, the General Directorate of Corporate Communication, the General Directorate of Human Resources, the General Directorate of Planning and Budgeting, and the General Directorate of Legal Affairs. In addition, the General Directorate of Administrative and Financial Affairs, the General Directorate of Educational Services, the General Directorate of Volunteering and Community Partnership, the General Directorate of Alternative Revenue, and the Institute of Consulting Studies and Services were also recognized. Moreover, the General Directorate of University Security received two certificates, (ISO 9001:2015) and (ISO 45001:2018), as did the General Directorate of Facilities. The Deanship of e-Services was awarded both (ISO 9001:2015) and (ISO 20000:2018) certificates.

On this occasion, the Dean of the Deanship of Development and Quality at King Khalid University, Professor Salem bin Ahmed Al-Qarni, emphasized that this achievement crowns the university’s efforts in applying the highest standards of quality and excellence. This positively reflects the level of performance and services provided to students and all university members. He added that obtaining ISO international conformity certificates enhances the university's standing and underscores its ability to compete in both the local and international academic environments. He pointed out that the ongoing pursuit of institutional excellence is an integral part of the university’s comprehensive strategy for performance development and improvement in all areas.
