University Honors Winners and Participants in Student Activities 1445AH
King Khalid University - General Administration of Institutional Communication
The Acting President of King Khalid University, Prof. Saad bin Mohammed bin Dajam, attended a ceremony held by the Deanship of Student Affairs to honor the winners and participants in student activities for the academic year 1445, and to crown the winning student clubs.
The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ali bin Mosfer Al-Qahtani, commended the efforts made, highlighting the talents, abilities, and skills possessed by the university's students, as well as the scientific, cultural, and innovative achievements they have made at the local, regional, and international levels.
The event began with an introductory film about the Deanship of Student Affairs, showcasing the most important services provided by the deanship. This was followed by a film about the deanship's achievements, which highlighted the most important achievements made by the university's students with the support of the deanship at the local and international levels, as well as the external participations that the deanship implemented and supported. This was followed by an introductory film about student clubs and the criteria through which the clubs were evaluated and the winners were selected.
During the ceremony, the Acting University President, honored the university departments that participated in the success of student activities at the Deanship of Student Affairs, including the university's Deanship of Academic Affairs, Deanship of Electronic Services, General Directorate of Institutional Communication, General Directorate of Human Resources, General Directorate of Investment, General Directorate of Facilities, Afaq Newspaper, the Central Library, the university's Medical City, Maintenance and Operation Department, Transportation Department, Traffic Department, Nutrition Department, Occupational Safety and Health Department, and the General Directorate of University Security.
Bin Dajam also honored the graduates who participated with creative ideas to develop the Alumni Association platform. Afterwards, supervisors of college clubs and central clubs, as well as pioneers of college clubs and central clubs, were honored, and commemorative photos were taken.
During the ceremony, the best supervisor in college clubs for male students, the best supervisor in college clubs for female students, and the best supervisor in central clubs were honored. Dr. Raed Abdullah Al-Qahtani from the College of Nursing in Khamis Mushait won the award for the best college club supervisor for male students, while Ms. Reem Ahmed Al-Raqe from the College of Science won the award for the best college club supervisor for female students. Dr. Arij Al-Ansari from the Volunteer Work Club won the award for the best central club supervisor.
During the ceremony, college clubs and central clubs that won first place were honored. In the central clubs, the Volunteer Work Club won first place, followed by the Video Games Club in second place. In the college clubs for female students, the College of Applied Sciences in Muhail Asir achieved first place and the banner of the crown of clubs, the College of Home Economics achieved second place, and the College of Dentistry achieved third place.
In the college clubs for male students, the College of Nursing in Khamis Mushait achieved first place and the banner of the crown of clubs, the College of Science achieved second place, and the College of Medicine achieved third place.
At the end of the ceremony, commemorative photos were taken with the committees working on the ceremony in the presence of the Acting University President and the leadership of the Deanship of Student Affairs.
