King Khalid University Completes Preparations to Welcome 60,000 Students with a Comprehensive Service System

King Khalid University announced the completion of its preparations to welcome more than 60,000 students at the start of the first semester of the academic year 1446 across all its colleges. The Acting President of King Khalid University, Prof. Saad bin Mohammed bin Dajam, directed all colleges and units of the university to finalize their preparations for the start of the new academic year.
The academic preparations include equipping classrooms and laboratories, updating electronic systems to ensure a comprehensive educational experience, and coordinating with various colleges to ensure that study schedules align with students' needs. Additionally, appropriate academic and professional guidance has been provided to prepare students to begin the new semester with diligence and dedication.
Intensive steps have been taken to provide a stimulating learning environment that meets the aspirations of students. This includes enhancing academic and psychological support services to ensure that every student is in the best possible position to succeed and excel in their studies. Furthermore, there is a focus on providing a safe and comfortable environment that enhances student concentration and supports them in achieving their academic goals. This is in line with the university's desire to enhance the quality of education and provide all the necessary conditions for students to maximize their university experience.
The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University plays a vital role in achieving the university's vision. The deanship offers a variety of services including academic, psychological, and social support, as well as early preparations for organizing cultural and sports activities that enhance the students’ experience and helps them excel and innovate in various fields. The Associate Deanship for Services also provides comprehensive support to students through the Student Care and Counseling Center, which offers specialized guidance programs to direct students towards academic excellence and develop their personal and social skills. In addition to the unit of students with special needs, which ensures their full integration into university life.
The Associate Deanship for Student Activities works on preparing and organizing various programs and activities aimed at enhancing students' skills and refining their talents. These programs include cultural activities such as the cultural Olympiad, theatrical activities, and sports activities aimed at enhancing physical fitness and sportsmanship. Additionally, a range of services are provided to students through the electronic platform "Muhtam," which includes submitting requests for loans and grants, registering for student activities and clubs, and participating in various events.
