The event will take place in the workshop hall of the Central Library at the University City in Al-Fara’a.
The Artificial Intelligence Summer School aims to equip participants, including students from general education and the university, faculty members, and those interested in artificial intelligence, with the latest knowledge and technologies in this rapidly evolving field. The summer school includes an intensive program of specialized workshops designed to enhance participants' technical, cognitive, and research skills, enabling them to contribute effectively to various scientific and technological fields.
The training program of the school is distinguished by its diversity and comprehensiveness, as it includes several workshops that take the trainee on a journey from building foundational skills to exploring the latest advanced technologies in this field. It covers both basic and advanced topics in artificial intelligence. Among these workshops is the "Introduction to Python," which will focus on the fundamentals of programming and data structures using the Python language, considered essential for developing skills in the fields of artificial intelligence. The workshops are to include the "Training Machine Learning Models Using Python", which aims to provide practical applications for data analysis and model training. Additionally, there is a "Deep Learning" workshop that will cover the stages of building deep learning models and their practical applications in various fields, such as image analysis and natural language processing.
Among the other advanced topics that are to be covered is the workshop "Using Neural Networks to Learn Arabic Phonetics Rules," which will focus on applying techniques to improve natural language processing in Arabic. There is also a workshop on "Early Diagnosis of Parkinson's Symptoms Using Deep Learning," which will explore advanced techniques for early medical diagnosis.
Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al-Qahtani, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Center at King Khalid University, emphasized that this summer school represents a significant step in the field of education and training. He said, "At King Khalid University, we are constantly striving to offer advanced training programs that help prepare a new generation of specialists.
