Signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the University Medical Center and I'tinaa Association for Diabetes Care in Asir

Under the patronage of King Khalid University Acting President, Professor Saad bin Mohammed bin Dajam, the University’s College of Medicine recently signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the I'tinaa Association for Diabetes Patient Care in the Asir region. The agreement aims to enhance collaborative health efforts between the two parties to improve services for diabetes patients in the Asir region. Representing the university in the signing was Prof. Ali bin Saeed Al-QahtaniDean of the College of Medicine, while Chairman of the I’itnaa board, Dr. Mohammed bin Misfer Al-Qahtani represented his party. The objective of this agreement is to enhance collaborative health efforts between the two parties to improve services for diabetes patients in the Asir region.
Dean Professor Ali bin Saeed Al-Qahtani explained that the memorandum includes several key clauses aimed at achieving fruitful cooperation between the two parties. Notable among these clauses are the development and implementation of health, social, and voluntary programs and services, as well as collaboration in various activities and mutual benefit from shared services and resources. Al-Qahtani emphasized the importance of community responsibility, with the agreement aiming to elevate the quality of programs and activities that serve diabetes patients and improve their quality of life.
This agreement represents a significant step towards enhancing cooperation between the College of Medicine at King Khalid University and the I'tinaa Association for Diabetes Patient Care. It contributes to improving the health and social services provided to diabetes patients in the Asir region. Both parties aim to achieve their shared goals and provide distinguished services that meet patient needs and elevate the level of healthcare in the region.
It is worth noting that the I'tinaa Association for Diabetes Patient Care was established in the Asir region with the goal of providing comprehensive services for diabetes patients. The association aims to increase awareness about diabetes and prevention methods through community-oriented educational and awareness programs, contribute to scientific studies and research related to diabetes to find innovative and effective solutions for treating patients, and offer support to patients by providing necessary medications and medical supplies to ensure they receive the required healthcare. The association also provides medical services to peripheral areas to ensure that all diabetes patients in the Asir region receive adequate healthcare.
