King Khalid University Acting President Prof. Saad bin Mohammed bin Dajam, attended the launch of the beta version of the new electronic portal, which was launched by the Deanship of Electronic Services, in a ceremony held at the Exhibitions and Conferences Center in Al Fara'a.

On the occasion of the launch, Acting President said: "The launch of the beta version of the electronic portal comes as part of the university's continuous efforts to improve performance and provide innovative services that meet the needs of our academic community." He stressed that the university strives to become at the forefront of educational institutions that adopt the latest technologies to provide an integrated educational environment.

It’s worth noting that the new electronic portal aims to improve user experience through a user-friendly design and provide advanced services that include support for people with disabilities, providing a three-tier architecture system; In addition to providing APIs, and using SSR and Next.js systems. Moreover, the development of the electronic portal was carried out in cooperation with a group of experts, and through several stages that included intensive workshops to ensure the highest levels of quality.

It is significant to highlight that this portal version is part of the university's strategy 2030 in line with the Asir Development Strategy, which marks the university's efforts to strengthen communication with students, faculty members and employees.
