Acting University President Meets Gifted Students Participating in the "Mawhiba" Academic Enrichment Program

King Khalid University held a meeting for gifted students participating in the “Mawhiba Academic Enrichment Program 2024”, which is organized by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Talent and Creativity "Mawhiba", in cooperation with King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs. The program activities continue for three weeks, with the participation of more than 100 gifted students from different regions of the Kingdom.
The Acting President of King Khalid University, Prof. Saad bin Mohammad bin Dajam, explained that the university is proud of its partnership with "Mawhiba" in the ambitious "Mawhiba Academic Enrichment Program 2024", which seeks to develop the creative abilities of students and prepare them for the future, in accordance with the highest international standards. He pointed to the importance of investing in talented youth, saying: "Saudi Vision 2030 focuses heavily on developing human capabilities and enhancing innovation and creativity, and the Mawhiba Academic Enrichment Program represents an important opportunity for students to acquire knowledge and develop skills, building a bright future for the Kingdom."
The Acting President of the University welcomed the participants and supervisors of the program, praising the efforts made to organize this program. He also praised the efforts of the Talent and Creativity Unit at the Deanship of Student Affairs at the university, led by Dr. Jamila Mushabab Al-Rawi, in organizing and implementing the program. He expressed his confidence in the program and stressed the university's continued support for such initiatives.
The Acting President of the University, alongside the Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs, Dr. Ali bin Mosfer Al-Qahtani were briefed on the various activities and events offered by the program, including enrichment units in the fields of data science, AI, cybersecurity, and engineering design principles. The Acting President also attended some of the classes and activities that aim to develop 21st century skills among students.
