Acting University President Attends Annual Eid Al-Adha Ceremony 1445H

King Khalid University held the Annual Eid Al-Adha Ceremony, which was organized by the General Administration for Institutional Communication at the Exhibition and Conference Center in Al-Fara’a. The Ceremony was attended by a number of University Vice Presidents, Deans and employees.

His Excellency, Acting President of King Khalid University, Prof. Saad bin Mohammad bin Dajam, congratulated our wise leadership for the success of the Hajj Season 1445H, on his own behalf and on behalf of university affiliates. He praised the kingdom’s organizational and integrated efforts and all working teams that ensured the pilgrims' comfort and security.

Bin Dajam expressed his pride with all efforts made by various sectors, embodying the leadership’s guidance to ease Hajj for all pilgrims this year, by providing exceptional services. This reflects the kingdom’s excellence in crowd organization. He prayed to God to accept the pilgrims’ Hajj and prayed for the protection of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince.

His Excellency extended his congratulations to His Royal Highness, Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Asir and Head of the Asir Development Authority. In addition to the Deputy Governor of Asir, His Royal Highness, Khalid bin Sattam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz. He prayed to God for continued health and prosperity, and for continued progress in Asir, highlighting the efforts made by His Royal Highness and his unwavering support of the university.

Bin Dajam praised the efforts of the volunteering students who participated in serving the pilgrims of this year’s Hajj, as well as highlighting the immense efforts made during the 26th batch graduation ceremony. His Excellency also pointed out that during the current summer semester, the university welcomed over 10 thousand students, including visiting students from other universities, which illustrates the university's commitment to providing various integrated educational opportunities.

The Acting President also highlighted the admission timeline for 1446H, pointing out the various programs the university offers, which include paid and unpaid bridging programs. He affirmed that all these programs come in line with the job market needs and improved educational and career prospects for students.

To conclude the ceremony, the Acting President Honored the Team of International Rankings in appreciation of their pivotal role in achieving exceptional international placements, praising their profound impact on the university.

It is noteworthy that in conjunction with the main ceremony at Al-Fara’a, the Tihama branch also held a ceremony for Eid Al-Adha, which was attended by the General Supervisor of the Colleges of Tihama, Prof. Ahmad Atif Al-Shehri. In Addition to the Female Branch’s ceremony in Quraiqer, which was attended by the University President Consultant of Female Students’ Complexes Affairs, Prof. Kholud Abu-Milha.
