Acting University President Attends the First Exhibition of Student Projects at the College of Architecture and Planning

Acting President of King Khalid University, Prof. Saad bin Mohammed bin Dajam, attended the first student project exhibition, which was organized by the College of Architecture and Planning at the university, in cooperation with Abha’s Chamber and Exa Company, in the presence of a number of representatives from the sectors related to the field.
Bin Dajam, toured the exhibition's sections, which included 50 student projects in architecture and engineering. He praised the students’ hard work and efforts, as they reflect their exceptional talents, knowledge, and innovation.
In a speech delivered by the Dean of the College of Architecture and Planning at the university, Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Shuhan, after welcoming the guests and participants, he pointed out that this is the first exhibition for this emerging college, which is sailing towards a promising future.
Shuhan, added that this exhibition’s creative and innovative output is a result of the exceptional efforts of students during the past academic semester, which included 350 students. The 50 projects showcased in the exhibition were chosen based on the objectives of each course they studied. He stressed that this exhibition is a great incentive for students to broaden their creative and innovative horizons.
The exhibition aimed to display students’ talents on a larger scale, particularly in the labor market, stimulating a sense of competition among the students and enriching their thinking through discussions with specialists in architecture and academia.
The exhibition concluded with honoring the students who won “best project”, local competition winners, in addition to honoring participants and sponsors from various sectors.
