Elite Archery Championship Organized by the Saudi Archery Federation Kicks Off at the University

The Elite Archery Championship, organized by the Saudi Archery Federation, kicked off at King Khalid University. The championship is hosted by the university from May 28 to 30, with the participation of 76 players representing 28 clubs in 9 categories, and led by 8 referees.
The organizing committee of the championship held a meeting for the managers of the participating teams to explain the competition mechanism. A total of 36 medals will be distributed, including gold, silver, and bronze. The competitions will be held in the Olympic bow and compound bow categories.
At the start of the championship, the Dean of Student Affairs at the university, Dr. Ali bin Mosfer Al-Qahtani, welcomed the university's guests, expressing his great pleasure in hosting this championship and wishing the guests an enjoyable time at the university.
It is worth noting that the Saudi Archery Federation became independent in 2013 after being part of the Arab Shooting and Archery Federation. In line with the Kingdom's directives and Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to build a society where individuals enjoy a healthy lifestyle, and encourages sports of all kinds in order to achieve sports excellence at the local, regional, and international levels. the Saudi Archery Federation was launched to establish its vision and directions that are in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and the federation's aspirations, and to contribute to the prosperity of the sports sector.
